While obvi has always been able to send messages to many countries, certain factors kept it from being super reliable outside of the US. Changes rolled out over the last few days mean our friends in UK and Netherlands have a great new tool for their human-centered remote research:
- UK: +44 phone number will be used to send assignments to UK participants
- Netherlands: +31 phone number
- UPDATE Apr. 4 20: due to inconsistency in international messaging, other EU country support isn't possible at this time.
This is the final major feature of our v3 project, which includes a few other huge improvements announced previously:
- Messages replaces Responses/Journal - all conversations in one place
- Universal media support instead of MMS reliance - uploads are faster and more reliable
- No selfie option - Ability to run 100% text-only studies
